Here Come The Drums is a fun and engaging drumming experience that explores world percussion and african drumming, the rhythms, the music, the culture and all the instruments.

It’s crazy but true, kids have a natural instinct with playing rhythms and they love it, from banging on all the pots and pans in the kitchen to making drums out of empty tins cans; they dream of one day having a real drum kit in their own bedroom.

Even when we grow up, we find ourselves tapping away to the beat of the drum.

Our Fun Drumming Workshops go further than that!

Here Come The Drums is an interactive and live drumming workshop that allows you to explore an assortment of drumming and percussion instruments and use your innate drumming instincts.

Expertly facilitated and gently guided throughout the drumming experience, everybody has hands on drumming time, getting creative building their own rhythm band to becoming a fully-fledged drumming ensemble playing an assortment of rhythms from around the world.

During the workshop you are welcomed within a nurturing environment to participate at your individual level of comfort and music ability, contributing collaborative musical ideas to the live and interactive drumming experience as new compositions and soundscapes develop organically.

Every person is so surprised and amazed to discover their individual abilities and the music they can make together!

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

All age groups

Our Fun Workshops are specifically designed for all age groups 4 years and up.

We also specialise in animated ‘learning through play’ Kinder Workshops for Babies to 4 years.

Duration

Our fun workshops will go for a minimum of 60 minutes but mostly our workshops go for 2 hours duration, however they can be designed for a full day or over several days. The workshops are 100% hands on and interactive, and we design them according to your groups needs and your objectives. We work with all kinds of workshop requests.

We are a Touring Visual Arts and Music Performance Workshops company with our Fun Workshops available Australia Wide.

Cost

The cost for each event is based on the number of participants, number of performers we will bring, duration and location of the event. Please contact us and we will customize a free quote for you.

Full day or specifically designed workshops series given over several days are according to your requested quote.

Minimum group numbers

No minimum numbers apply however we can coordinate a set workshop quote to facilitate bringing our workshops to your organisation if your centre has less than 30 attendees.

We have a quick turn around when you request a quote from us, usually within 24 hours. Quotation will depend on numbers, what we need to bring and location travel to help us complete a costing to your group,

An indoor venue is preferred.
